I am a secondary English and Media teacher in the East Midlands. An MA Creativity Arts Literacy Learning student. A used to be TEFL teacher in the land of smiles. I like words, the Shelleys, Juninho (Boro version) and noise. And this is a blog about bridging theory and practice in the classroom. So the plan is to read some teaching and learning theory + apply it in my lessons and then think about it. If anyone gets anything out of it: brilliant! But the real intention is to think about teaching and learning outside the grip of the dark lord SIMS.

According to Sir Ken Robinson the process is the creative bit.

Creativity is the process of having original ideas that have value.
